Meet The Atlanta Team
Margot Witteveen, MS, RDN, LDN
I am a functional medicine dietitian and co-owner of Perfectly Portioned Wellness. I have worked with many women, like you, struggling to find answers to their problems.
After completing my education and practicing dietetics, I knew there was more to us than diet and exercise. Our bodies are more nuanced with genetics, environment, nutrition, stress, lifestyle and of course hormones that affect our bodies. This realization led me to functional medicine, and I never looked back. I believe in a root-cause, science-based approach.
I am like many of you too. I am going through perimenopause, so I really get your challenges. And if it wasn’t for my education and training, I would be struggling for answers.
I have had many opportunities:
- Years of working 1:1 with clients
- Speaking at various conferences and workshops
- Uncovering the medical blind spots in hormone health
- Contributing to blogs
- Interviewed on numerous podcasts
- Building a community of strong women
How did I get here?
- B.S. in Chemistry, Georgia State University
- M.S. in Nutrition, Georgia State University
- Dietetic Internship, Southern Regional Medical Center
- Advanced training in Integrative and Functional Medicine through IFNA & working in a functional medicine practice
- Ongoing clinical and professional training. Learning never stops!
