Changing the Landscape of Women’s Health

The landscape of women’s health is often dismissed or ignored.  As a person who works within women’s health, this is incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, women’s symptoms or labs are overlooked when their symptoms seem “vague”, or their labs are “normal”.   Frequently women visit several doctors before being heard or have their sympt犀利士
oms validated. Oftentimes, women need to bring a male companion before physicians will listen to their challenges.

We need to tackle women’s health differently. Putting gender aside, women and men, biologically speaking, are different. Unfortunately, when it comes to nutrition, medication studies and even exercise, these have been done mostly on healthy men.

It’s time to change this paradigm.

Within our practice we ensure our clients:

  • Feel heard犀利士
  • Feel supported
  • Feel empowered

As a functional medicine dietitian, I focus on the following key markers of health:

  • H犀利士
    ormone health balance
  • Gut health
  • Inflammation
  • Improving metabolic flexibility

Our clients come to us for varying issues such as endometriosis, PCOS, 犀利士
or estrogen dominance. Sometimes our clients are feeling “off”, and we use our specialized hormone testing or genetic testing to dig a little deeper.  Take a look here for our specific programs.

Before we work together, we start with a discovery call, or we like to think of it as a “health strategy” call. This is part of your client journey.

Women taking ownership of their health and making sure they are heard is a movement. And we are excited to witness women coming into their own.  Ask for what you need. Be your own advocate. You have a big life to live!
